Job Description
What will you do?
In its continuous research of business growth, Industrial Automation Services (IA Services) commercial team would like to reinforce its offer launch capacity & competency associated to IA Services offers. The IA Services Offer launch leader will lead the selected offers launches in coordination with offer managers and marketing/sales leaders across the globe and will contribute to professionalise this key function within the category management team.
Part of the IA Services Global Commercial Organization, he/she will have a strong collaboration with the functions working directly with the offer deployment team (PMO, Offer Marketing, Quality, …) as well as the front offices in the different impacted countries in order to have a successful launch.
The IA Services Offer launch leader will be mainly direct responsible for the definition, the execution and the follow up of the launch plans in line with business targets of the projects and the entity. Nevertheless, when the definition and the execution of a launch plan will be delegated to another function in the country level, the IA Services Offer Launch leader will be responsible to ensure that the plan is following best practices and is well adapted to business constraints in order to secure the business in the most efficient way.
Define Launch Strategy according to business objectives:
- Clearly define the approach (prelaunch and launch plans), timelines
Define, Prepare and Share offer prelaunch and launch plan:
- Define in details prelaunch and launch plans
- Coordinate with the relevant stakeholders all aspects of the launch book.
- Define and manage Offer Launch Assets
- Share information with countries as launch preparation progresses.
- Make sure that a withdrawal plan of old offer is available
Define, Prepare and Share Launch Strategy & plan:
- Define Launch Strategy (prelaunch & launch)
- and Plan (reinforcing the prelaunch activities to get sooner and stronger engagement)
- Coordinate with the relevant stakeholders all aspects of the launch book.
- Define and manage Offer Launch Assets
- Share information with countries as launch preparation progresses.
- Make sure that a withdrawal plan of old offer is available
Coordinate with Countries:
- Establish Launch organization, responsibilities and schedule. Share it with countries and project team.
- Define the country launch mirror team
- Initiate and drive the Country Launch dashboard
- Address country concerns. Drive the country replies and commitment.
- Secure the different country commitment at key milestones / gates (forecasts, price )
- Organize country launch kick off meetings, and drive Launch in Operations implementation of Go-To-Market Mix and impactful introduction to market.
- Prepare launch execution dashboard
Create, share and negotiate offer pricing policy:
- Support the Establishment offer positioning and detail pricing structure .
- Create pricing tool to be shared with countries including positioning, cost and competitors information
- Convey Value proposition price quantification content (logic and calculations) to Countries
- Drive the Local price determination in key countries according to local market conditions and participate in transfer price negotiation.
Look after logistics:
- Assure that all logistics aspects are in place. Including availability of all certifications and tests to sell in all targeted countries, markings and translations, packaging, invoicing, creation of references globally and at countries, initial productions is planned, delivery flow is checked, initial stock orders are received, key countries logistic flow is in place.
Execute the launch:
- Organize offer trainings and offer global launch events.
- Drive main Launch in Operations Implementation phase actions in key countries, participating in a number of them directly.
Follow it up the launch:
- Follow up launch, at the LoB and local level, including follow up of stock, order deliveries, sales, margins, quality issues, substitution, countries action plans, booth plan, react in case of deviation by defining with the relevant stakeholder the recovery action plans.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- 10+ combined years of industry business
- Excellent communicator, self-aware, transparent, and open to feedback.
- Executive exposure & cross-functional stakeholder management
- Project management skills: organisation, team coordination, risk management, …
- Good business acumen, and analytical skills
- Proactive; must be smart, self-motivated, highly adaptable, data driven, energetic, and a great problem solver.
- Proven communication and collaboration skills
- Relevant University degree or equivalent work experience plus strong commercial/ sales experience
- Good understanding of Sales Process preferred
- Solid marketing skills and price management, strong LoB Offers knowledge and understanding
- Industrial Automation Services offer knowledge preferred
English speaking (and other language is also an advantage)
