Mission
Deliver great quality outcome to our customers by practicing and applying Design Reliability and Robustness and Quality processes, tools, and software across a project within Home & Distribution Division to ensure Schneider Electric products and solutions are designed to be safe, robust, and reliable.  Responsible for owning the entire End-to-End Customer Experience and Quality on New Product Introduction ensuring the team is aligning with global processes and tools.

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Project Quality Leader to join our team, the main goal is to ensure we Design our products with Safety & Reliability in mind.  As a Senior Project Quality Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective testing and quality assurance practices.  You will work closely with cross-functional teams (engineering, Industrialization and suppliers) to identify and address reliability and quality issues, develop maintenance and quality strategies, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the key quality deliverables including Design for Safety & Reliability fundamentals (DfSR).
  • Develop, execute, and report Quality plan on regular basis within the project team.
  • Train and coach cross functional organization with DfSR fundamental training, methods, and tools to ensure robustness and reliability targets are met.
  • Assist the Product Owner and Scrum Master on risk management, assessing the deliverables maturity, coaching the team on methods and quality tools, ensuring design for safety and reliability and industrial quality fundamentals are secured within the project.
  • Guarantee Voice of Customer is well collected and analyzed and considered within project execution from Open to Close of project.
  • Lead Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure the quality and reliability of products throughout the development phase. Ensure quality deliverables are met, such as (but not limited to): CTQ/CTC, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Control Plans, P-diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Field Trail Test, and Mission Profile.
  • Ensure collaboration of component risk analysis and own component risk dashboard.
  • Collaborate with Suppliers to ensure quality of purchased parts.
  • Analyze performance data and product quality metrics to recommend design and process changes to improve reliability and quality.

 

Qualifications and experiences

  • 7+ years’ experience in reliability, project quality engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with Supplier Quality practices
  • Experience with DFMEA development
  • Experience with Reliasoft and Minitab
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Lean Six Sigma, 8D)
  • Strong communication with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and to promote effective teamwork.
  • Passionate of continuous learning and improvement, seeking opportunities to expand his/her knowledge and skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset and focusing on delivering value to end-users in a pragmatic way.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to multitask with ease is essential to the success of this position.
