Job Description

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

 

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

The Digital Power organization is looking for a Strategic Accounts Sales Specialist to conduct B2B sales of IoT driven electrical power distribution and control solutions focused in strategic accounts and segments.  Driving our most strategic solutions with our most strategic customers.

What Do You Do Every Day?

 

  • Build and execute a multi-layered sales strategy across a customer’s network from the executive level to the local level.
  • Build deep relationships becoming a trusted advisor to our most strategic customers.
  • Solution sales comprised of IoT hardware, software, and services used to distribute, monitor, and control a customer’s electrical network.
  • Work as a key member of our national and global strategic sales teams to drive our most strategic solutions with our most strategic customers.
  • Work with a team of solution architects, inside sales specialists, quotations specialists, engineers, project managers, and other cross-functional professionals to deliver solutions that solve customer needs.
  • Have freedom and flexibility to drive sales and create solutions necessary for your customers.

Who are we looking for? - This job might be for you if:

 

  • Passion for driving cutting-edge solutions and thinking outside the box to solve customer problems.
  • Experience with End Customer solution selling and/or delivery of complex projects in the electrical industry.
  • Willingness to win for our customers in a professional sales team.
  • Desire to work in a high-performance sales environment with an aggressive sales incentive program.
  • Experience with any of the following is preferred but not necessary: electrical distribution and/or building automation systems and equipment such as switchgear, programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and SCADA systems.
  • Developed interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers of various technical abilities to develop solutions actively and creatively.
  • Ability lead and engage in a virtual sales team in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to self-manage, multi-task, and learn new skills quickly.
  • Travel up to 50% to customer sites within the United States.
