Job Description

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $136,000 - $204,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

We are in search of an exceptionally talented Strategy Consultant who can bring a mix of their extensive experience to lead and support strategic initiatives that drive client success. As an internal consultant, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, engage with diverse stakeholders and business leaders to craft and implement strategies to address intricate business challenges. This role offers you the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, build your skillset with exceptional business exposure to critical initiatives, and help drive growth in Schneider Electric North America.

 

What will you do?

  • Lead the development and design of critical strategic initiatives accelerating and enabling growth.
  • Communicate, prepare, and deliver high-level presentations, reports, and briefings for executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support Influencing the key decisions, outcomes required to drive strategic change and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, teams to develop and execute strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Problem Solving and Critical Thinking: Analyze complex business problems, apply structured frameworks, and utilize advanced critical thinking skills to identify root causes and develop actionable plans.
  • Developing Strategic Insights: Conduct market research to synthesize clear, compelling and communicable insights and translate them into actionable strategies for competitive advantage.
  • Communication: Articulate complex insights, strategies, and recommendations clearly and effectively, and deliver persuasive presentations to guide decision-making processes.
  • Executive Presence and Storytelling: Build trust-based relationships with internal stakeholders and communicate intricate ideas and strategic insights through compelling storytelling.
  • Orchestrating and Facilitating: Take the lead in coordinating cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving project timelines to ensure successful realization of objectives.
  • Business Case Development: Develop data-driven business cases supporting strategic recommendations and assess the financial implications of proposed strategies.

  • This role will report directly to the Commercial Strategy Execution Leader

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution; MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation acumen.
  • 5-8 years of experience in management consulting / corporate strategy.
  • Proven success in engaging with senior clients and contributing to consulting projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously within teams and lead diverse groups effectively.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and business intelligence software.
  • Previous experience in successfully developing and implementing business strategies.
  • Ability to travel ~20% of the time
